About

MY BACKGROUND

The ability to predict future levels of GHGs, the main driver of climate change, ultimately depends on the comprehensive understanding of their sources, sinks, and what controls their variability. My research focuses on a better understanding of important GHGs sources and sinks using global atmospheric forward-inverse modeling, processed-based biogeochemical models, global remote sensing data, and small variations in naturally occurring stable isotopes. I was recently a Contributing Author of Working Groups I of the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (AR6-Chap5) providing information on global/regional CO2 and CH4 fluxes using inverse modeling and prepared 10 key figures.
